Class A Truck DriverTrillium Drivers is now seeking experienced Class A Regional Truck Drivers in Wixom, MI for a direct-hire opportunity!Pay rate is $29.50 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours. Schedule is Monday - Friday. No weekends! This is first shift starting at 7AM but must be flexible.Position Overview: Primary role as a Class A Truck Driver. Operating an automatic transmission hauling batteries to automotive plants, dealerships, etc. Must be confident with backing into tighter areas. 95% of deliveries are no-touch. Any unloading that may be required will be done utilizing an electric pallet jack. This is a regional position. Drivers must be willing to stay overnight in a sleeper cab. $55 per diem is given per night slept in the truck. Drivers must also have a minimum of 3 years of recent Class A experience.Miscellaneous: Must have a Hazmat endorsement. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Proper and thorough pre and post trips are crucial. Must be self-directed, self-motivated, confident, and decisive. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Must have knowledge of DOT regulations, electronic logging devices, and hours of service rules. Driving company vehicle safely and responsibly per DOT regulations. Must be customer service oriented and personable.Benefits: 401(k) with company match - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Life and disability insurance -$1,500 sign-on bonus, paid in (4) increments. Two weeks of vacation time within the first year.Qualifications: Valid CDL Class A license. At least 3+ years of recent and verifiable CDL Class A driving experience. Hazmat endorsement is required.
