Job Description
Topnotch Metal Products in Sacramento, CA, is looking for a driven Production Associate to manufacture and assemble custom sheet metal and residential HVAC components. In this hands-on role, you will operate shop machinery to cut and shape metal, assemble parts like ducts, pipes, and fittings, and inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet strict quality and dimensional standards. We are seeking a safety-conscious team player who thrives on hitting production goals and collaborating with shop floor supervisors to seamlessly move finished goods into inventory and shipping.
salary: $18 - $21 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6:15 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
- Build and manufacture custom sheet metal and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) parts.
- Operate shop tools and manufacturing machinery to safely shape and cut metal.
- Assemble residential HVAC components, including ducts, pipes, elbows, register boxes, and fittings.
- Conduct quality control inspections on finished parts to verify accuracy, dimensions, and lack of flaws.
- Adhere strictly to all shop floor safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Transfer and stage finished goods for inventory storage or outbound shipping.
